Medical Staff

Laura Stivers, MSN, FNP

Laura Stivers was recently hired by the Clark Physician Group and brings over 20 years of nursing experience.  Laura received her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. She was most recently employed by Total Care Family Practice in Clarksville.


Barry Taylor, MSN, FNP

Barry Taylor, a Family Nurse Practitioner, is a familiar face in the Charlestown office as he has worked at the location on a part-time basis but has returned on a full-time basis. Barry received his Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practice from Spalding University School of Nursing in 2012. Barry has worked in the health care industry for over 30 years with specialized training in emergency medicine and advance practice nursing. He has been with Clark Memorial since 2008.


Cardiology Specialty Clinic

Dr. Zaka Rahman from Cardiology Center of Southern Indiana sees patients every Wednesday in the Charlestown office. He accepts new patients and is available for appointments from 8 - 10 a.m. Call 812 288-4288 to make an appointment.

Zaka Rahman, MD, FSCAI, Associate Fellow, American College of Cardiology

Cardiologist Dr. Zaka Rahman has been treating people with heart disease in Kentuckiana for more than 25 years. An Associate Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention, Dr. Rahman completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Providence Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He has a medical degree from King Edward Medical School at the University of Punjab and completed his residency at Providence Hospital – Southfield, MI.
